Q: What are lash extensions?
A: Lash extensions provide temporary fullness and length to a client’s naturally grown lashes. This service is semi-permanent in that they gradually come loose over a few weeks depending on the client’s natural lash lifecycle. The extension faux lashes are adhered to the lash line using a medical-grade adhesive glue, tweezers, and the lash technician’s expertise.
Q: How long has Shari been doing lash extensions?
A: She has been offering lash extensions for 12 years! Not only that, she runs a lash extension learning center where she trains and educates other lash technicians wanting to specialize in natural lash extensions.
Q: What type of lash extension styles does Shari offer?
A: Shari specializes in natural classic lashes and hybrid lashes only. She does not offer volume or mega volume lashes. Shari creates custom lash fans as she works on each client’s extension set to create the most natural look for them.
Q: What are the lashes made of?
A: Shari uses vegan and cruelty-free silk lashes on all of her clients!
Q: Do I need a special product to remove eye makeup?
A: Oil based makeup removers will remove the adhesive on the lash, so it is always recommended to use an oil free eye make up remover. Shari recommends the Neutrogena Oil-free Eye MakeUp Remover, which is available in our Amazon store front.
Q: Does Shari offer different length options?
A: She does! While she does not offer the entire lash length spectrum, she does keep a variety of lash lengths to allow guests to achieve the natural-looking lashes of their dreams. On the lash length scale (5mm to 18mm), Shari carries lengths between 8mm to 15mm.
Q: My eyes are sensitive. Is there a sensitive option?
A: Yes! There is a lash glue made for sensitive eyes that you can request at your appointment.
Q: How much do lash extensions cost?
A: The Shawn Paul Salon offers two different new lash extension application options and two maintenance lash extension applications.
