Cleveland Heights’ Rockefeller Building – Home to the Shawn Paul Salon!

Shawn Paul Salon has been a member of Cleveland Heights for years, before moving into the Historic Rockefeller Building back in 2016. For those who do not know much about the historic French-Norman style building, here are a few facts to paint a picture of its past. Around since the early 1930s, the building has been home to a number of businesses since it was built; including a Kroger grocery store, a beauty shop, a pharmacy, and a grand Cleveland Trust bank branch according to clevelandhistorical.org.

The building is currently home to Artisan Antiques, Animal Zen, Cleveland Rocks and Beads, State Farm, Uptown Antiques, and Starbucks in addition to the Shawn Paul Salon. In addition to the storefronts, the Rockefeller building is home to beautiful apartments with a ton of character. The second floor above the salon features a number of apartments that all have gorgeous big French-style windows for lots of natural light and unique accents. A large staircase leads up to the lobby of the apartments, filled with big, well-kept plants.
