Two weeks into 2025 and Cleveland has been feeling the cold. With the frigid temperatures, you may experience an increase in static. Whether it’s from the drier air, or adding and removing layers, static in the hair leads to flyaways and frizz.  Here are some of our favorite products for maintaining static and frizz free hair during the colder months.

1) Leave-in conditioners are your friend. A great way to add extra moisture to your hair care routine, especially if you’re happy with your current shampoo and conditioner.

2) Anti-Static Styling products- Hairspray is a common anti static solution, but there are also other options for someone looking to add moisture, or for finer hair that is easily weighed down.

3) Incorporate a small amount of oil after blow drying: Add a small amount to your hands, warm it up in your hands and gently smooth through your hair.

4) Consider using a satin or silk pillowcase. A simple and easy way to reduce frizz, especially for guests that like to go a few days between hair washes and like to wake up with hair looking fresh and ready to go! Check out our options in our salon’s boutique next time you visit.
